As much as I try not to get into shipping this brings up a really good point. What IS the point of developing that whole plotline with Korra and Bolin if there’s nothing that’s going to come out of it one way or another?

This only gives me a further uneasy feeling that ‘well shit, Bolin’s fucked’. I’m getting this horrible feeling putting the pieces together that Bolin’s going to end up sacrificing himself.

The whole mention of ‘willingness to sacrifice for the other’ in his bio on the website

To me it just keeps pointing to the idea that Bolin’s gonna jump in front of some dangerous thing, take the shot, be the proverbial sacrificial lamb and even though Korra HAS healing abilities it may/may not work (otherwise WHY mention it in the SAME episode that Bolin makes our heart break and simultaneously die laughing).
